Days of Grace: 264/365
By- Lauren accidentally knocked my Rx sunglasses to the floor and stepped on them about a month ago. I bought them from a store called SEE that doesn’t make many pair of each style, so I’d given up hope that I could replace them and re-use the lenses. Today, I stopped in, the clerk did a search, and eureka, found my glasses at another store. New sunglasses for $99 instead of $399 makes Lynn a very happy girl.
- Lauren let me have her bangs cut today. She looks adorable and I don’t have to fight with her to clip her hair out of her eyes anymore.
- I had a shitty, angry, mean, depressed day yesterday, but snapped out of it after a few hours of alone time. I’m grateful for the alone time and for the snapping out of it.
- I had spending money left to see New Moon. (which was … meh. It feels wrong to get all excited about a half-clothed 18 year old at my age, ya know?)
- Sushi for lunch.
okay:
1. drove around in my new car today and for once in over three years wasn’t feeling like a loser
2. spent morning w/ rents
3. Got some work done
4. had fight with dad but resolved w/in minutes. A miracle but a sign of our new, healthy relationship
