Days of Grace: 289/365
By- While I didn’t get my new car tags in the mail, which I’ve been waiting for since the end of December, the county did return my check because they couldn’t find my account. I’ve corrected it and sent it back in, which means soon I can stop being paranoid about getting a ticket.
- Sometimes it takes a crisis at work to make me shine. I’m shining right now.
- The new director coming on board has asked why we have only one communications person, which means he is open to my proposal for more communications staff. Which means a bigger possibility that by the summer, I could be in the type of job I thought I was taking almost 3 years ago (a leadership role).
- My ex did not give me any crap for picking up Lauren 90 minutes late last night. I’m grateful he understands that these work crises can throw off our schedule.
- Steve is able to take Lauren to school on Friday for me so I can be where I need to be.
