About

My name is Lynn and I am only human. This is my blog.

I’m a mother, lover, worker, writer, photographer … just another person living in Denver, Colo. I have strong opinions, an eye for details and a memory like a sieve, so blogging helps me recall those things like what I said during an argument so when my man brings it up again, I can say, uh-uh, what I actually said was THIS and here’s the proof. I write about the human condition through my own experience of it.

In June 2009, I turned 40. And right before that, I decided that now is the time to get my shit together. To understand how my body–this one, that I’m living in, not the one I would like to have–works. To understand my own mind, my emotional issues and their origins. My relationships with my love, Steve, and my daughter, Lauren. I’m not one to gloss over anything. I’m deep, man, and that’s the way I like it. And that’s how I write it.

Sometimes I’m clever, or witty, and occasionally I’m funny. But usually only by accident.

This blog is about my journey into the second half of my life. My real life. The first 40 years were just the dress rehearsal. Now, I’m ready to live.

Here are the ABC’s of Me. Because a Meme is worth 1,000 words.
