It’s very much like me to fail to wrap up the very end of projects. I’ve put off finishing this one for weeks. To be done with it, much more than 365 days in, here is a list of 30 things I am grateful for right now:

4. I have multiple talents, and if for some reason this job went away I could make a living a variety of ways that don’t involve food service or sign-holding on the side of the road

10. My car does not break down–it’s a Honda. Love it.
11. My car gets good gas mileage

13. Steve does his best to meet my needs, even when it’s hard

27. The medical/alternative health team I’ve found. Even though I am frustrated and angry and scared about my currently still-unknown medical situation, I know I have the resources I need.
28. Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald, who is by far the kindest, coolest, most wonderful veterinarian I have ever known
29. I can cry now, without feeling ashamed, even if it’s just a few tears
